Recorded in 2012, the following montage is a visual time capsule of “old time” Myanmar. With almost five decades of world isolation and military control, much of the country’s culture, ecology, and archaeological sites were unaltered. The abundance of natural resources and multitude of golden pagodas and temples have deemed Myanmar as “The Golden Land.” Myanmar is predominantly a Buddhist country.
